The Food Lab @ the united Kingdom Pub

The Food Lab is fantastic, the only issue is choosing what to order! All of the food sounds, smells and looks incredible. Stefan was very friendly and helpful and chatted with us while he made me a burger and a bit of a mixed platter so I could try a few things and it was all incredible. Cannot wait to go back and try some more food, if you haven't tied it yet get yourself down there and give it a go you will not regret it!

Banging food to go with a pint from the pub would definetly recommend getting one of the box for 1, absolutely lovely service

Great food, and the owners are lovely!

Having moored at the United Kingdom pub we walked past The Food Lab on our way to the pub. We stopped for a menu and were informed we could take food from the Food Lab into the pub. We were spoiled for choice with the menu. We ended up choosing Halloumi Fries and Cheesy and bacon Hash Browns Tater Tots for starters then for mains we had Fully Loaded Chill Beef Dirty Box for One and Fully Loaded BBQ Pulled Pork Box for One. I popped out the pub to order and asked if I should come back in ten minute. The lovely guy serving told me he'd drop the food in to us - which he did and then came back 10 or so minutes later with the mains. Whilst in leaving our starters he asked if our dog would like a sausage which he brought back with our mains. The food was lovely. Really tasty crunchy halloumi fries and the tater tots were full of flavour. The Fully Loaded Boxes were huge. Plenty of mac and cheese and the chilli seemed to be more pulled beef than ground mince. We were really impressed. I'm afraid the dog benefitted quite a bit as we just couldn't eat all the food. We really couldn't fault any of it. The first class service or the quality of the food at such a reasonable price. I'd highly recommend The Food Lab. We ate our moored in the United Kingdom pub. My oh and I had joked that we hoped it wasn't a local pub for local people! It was definitely a local pub with lots of local people butties all seemed very friendly, made a fuss of our dog. The landlord was friendly and chatty. My other half enjoyed his real ale. I was drinking lager and black (sorry) and for the first time ever I was asked how much black I would like in my drink! We paid for a few drinks up front and the landlord brought them out to us as he noticed our glasses emptying. On leaving both the landlord and regulars bid us good night. An excellent traditional pub which I also wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Food I ordered was nice however, they sent out a desert with the wrong sauce on which meant it couldn't be eaten by the person as they didn't like it. Also took them an hour and a half longer than I was told and the food arrived barely warm which was not a driver error as the minute it was on its way it got delivered fast.
